The journal Nature corroborated this issue by identifying 18 preprint studies with similar concealed messages. This trend, according to some, has been fueled by a social media post from Jonathan Lorraine, a research scientist at Nvidia, who proposed the idea as a means to avoid harsh critiques from AI-driven reviewers.
